Kings University College (KUC) has introduce a one (1) year Pre-University programme designed to provide alternative routes for WASSCE, SSSCE or NECO graduates to better their results, while preparing them for admission into level 100 or 200 of the degree programme at KUC.

Courses available under the Pre-University programmes are

​

a) KUC Certificate Programme with options in

·         Certificate in Law,

·         Certificate in Business Studies and

·         Certificate in Computer Applications.

​

b) Institute of Commercial Management (ICM), UK Certificate and Diploma progammes with specializations in

·         Accounting & Finance

·         Business Studies

·         Human Resource Development

 

c) General Business Certificate Examination (GBCE) programme and available options are

·         Accounting

·         Business Studies

 

d) ICT Professional Certification Programmes

 

The Pre-University programme is structured such that, students of the KUC Certificate Programme will in addition offer WASSCE remedial subjects. Upon successful completion, they will exit the Pre-University programme to Level 200 of the KUC degree programme.

Also, ICM, UK students will in their first year offer ICM (UK) Certificate and Diploma programmes alongside WASSCE remedial subjects. Those who pass will progress to level 200 of the KUC degree programme.

Students offering GBCE group certificate programme will offer GBCE subjects only will be required to pass all their selected subjects in the first year. Successful ones will then progress to Level 100 for the degree programme.

Students who opt for ICT professional certification programmes will offer Part 1 of Microsoft/CISCO certification courses in the first year and will be required to pass all their selected subjects in the first year. Successful students may either progress to Part 2 of the programme or exit from the programme.

KUC the is admitting students for the 2019/2020 academic year and SHS graduates with grades from four (4) credit passes at WASSCE or NECO, in any combination of core and elective subjects can apply. We have programmes for all students who have attempted WASSCE, GBCE or NECO. 

At the Pre-University, the Kingdom of God Foundation, a benevolent organisation in collaboration with the Kings University College and the Lioaning University, China will award 50% scholarship to all students. We also have flexible fee payment plan for students to follow in paying the remaining 50% of their fees. Again, we offer variety of programmes which our students can choose from. Pre-University students have the opportunity to study UK professional courses up to a Diploma level.
