Kings Law Faculty excels at second edition of Law Challenge

Kings Faculty of law put up a spirited performance to emerge as second runner up in this years law challenge competition.

The Law Challenge is an annual law competition amongst all fourteen Universities offering Law Programmes currently in Ghana. It quizzes participants on the core subjects taught at undergraduate level of legal education in Ghana. The competition also has a moot session for faculties that advances to the finals of the competition.

The second edition of the competition took place from the September 20th - 25th 2021 where Kings Law Faculty faced Wisconsin University at the initial round and won with a whooping margin of 50 points advancing to the next stage in the process.

The Kings Law Faculty came face to face with the University of Cape Coast at the semi finale stage on the 24th September but lost marginally denying Kings an opportunity at the finale.

 

Kings thus had to compete with Mouncrest University for a third place finish.

KUC thrilled everyone in the auditorium to an outstanding performance when it beat Mouncrest University College to claim the third position and for their reward received a dummy cheque for GH2000.

Kings Law Faculty was represented in the competition by  Mr Cephas M. Dapuri (Level 400) and Mr Emmanuel Edusei- Boateng (Level 300)
